ST. ANGELA ACADEMY IN AIKEN, SC

Here is a copy of the most recent (September 7, 2000) email message sent to those for whom we have email addresses.

Hello Saints -

I returned from Reunion 2000 early in August, where more then 1,000 emails, letters, and voice mail messages awaited me, on top of home repairs and getting ready for the beginning of the new year here at Villanova. Such is the price for traveling for two months. I am just now working through this backlog, so I thought that I might touch base with all of you.

Reunion 2000 went well, I believe. The only dark cloud was a long line and a wait to get in and register. The reason: over 200 more people attended than we expected - a silver lining. We had a nice crowd, including some of the Sisters and several lay faculty. If you were there and took pictures, please share. I can scan physical photos here, or you can put them electronically on the Web, as J. C. '58 and Mary Anne '68 have done. You can see these at:

the Reunion 2000 Page

At the reunion, attending Saints signed an oversized greeting card for the Sisters of Charity. I have sent that, along with a few of the coffee mugs, to the motherhouse in Charleston. I know that the Sisters who could not make the reunion will appreciate our efforts to remember and to recognize them.

I have updated the student database with the new information you have sent. Try to check the database to make sure I have it correctly listed. Please excuse my not answering each of your individual emails to me - I'm dancing as fast as I can.

As always, keep me posted with any information regarding St. Angela Academy. Best of luck to you and yours....

Frank Maloney '68
